Match Score & Pin Equivalence

“Drop in” is the suitability of a cross referenced product to swap the parent IC. For a part to be labelled as "drop in", it will have the same package, same dimensions, and same number of pins.

“Alternate” identifies products where the dimensions and/or packages may not 100% match the reference part. These parts may still be suitable for your needs.

The match scores assigned based on pin equivalence - and are between 1 & 0, with a higher score (1) indicating a closer pin equivalence.
