Form Fit Function (FFF) Analysis gives you a detailed side-by-side comparison of two components across key specifications — package dimensions, electrical parameters, pricing, lead times, and more — with every data point cited directly from the datasheet.
How to run an FFF Analysis
You can trigger an FFF Analysis from three places in Wizerr:
Cross Reference results — click the FFF option on any result row
Compare Specs — run an FFF from the comparison view
FFF analyses run in the background. You'll receive an email notification when your analysis is ready.
Reading the results
The analysis table shows four columns:
Specifications — the parameter being compared (e.g. Operating Temperature, Package Size, Pitch, Footprint Compatibility, Pricing, Lead Time)
Part 1 — value for the first part, with page number citations
Part 2 — value for the second part, with page number citations
Comments — AI-generated notes explaining the differences and implications
Page number references (e.g. p. 3, pp. 1, 2, 3) are clickable links that open the exact page in the component's datasheet.
Editing notes
You can edit the Comments column on any row to add your own notes or correct the AI-generated analysis. Click a comment to open the edit field, make your changes, and confirm.
Viewing past analyses
All your FFF analyses are saved and accessible from the Form Fit Function section in the left navigation. Each entry shows the two part numbers and the date it was created. Analyses can also be shared with teammates.
