Wizerr Inc. (“Wizerr”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to safeguarding your privacy and ensuring clear, transparent handling of your data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you access and use the Wizerr platform and its related services (collectively, the “Services”).

We comply with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR (EU) and CCPA (California, USA).

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please do not use our Services. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time — we will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Wizerr website.

1. Information We Collect

1.1. Account Information. When you sign up for Wizerr, we collect personal information necessary for creating and managing your account, including your name, email address, and password. You may also provide additional information to customize your profile.

1.2. Usage Data. We collect information about your interactions with the Wizerr platform, such as the features you use, search queries submitted, frequency and duration of your visits, and other user activities. This data is used to deliver and improve our Services.

1.3. Automatic and Technical Data. We may automatically collect certain information through your use of the Services, such as your IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, geo-location information, and usage patterns.

1.4. Cookies and Similar Technologies. We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience and gather usage information. You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings.

1.5. AI Platform Connector Data. When you connect Wizerr to an AI platform (such as Claude via the Claude Connectors Directory), Wizerr receives the part numbers, natural language queries, and engineering questions you submit through that platform in order to fulfill your requests. This data is processed to fulfill your request and is not used for any other purpose. We retain it only as needed to operate, secure, and support the Services.

2. How We Use Your Information

2.1. Providing Services. We use the information you provide to deliver and optimize our Services, including account setup, authentication, and technical support.

2.2. Improvement and Research. We may analyze de-identified or aggregated data to enhance features and system performance. We do not use your submitted queries, part numbers, or uploaded content to train or retrain AI models unless you explicitly consent. We may, however, derive de-identified and aggregated insights as described in Section 2.3.

2.3. De-identified and Aggregated Data. In certain cases, we may anonymize or de-identify your information and use it for internal and external purposes, including improving our Services and developing new features. De-identified data does not identify you personally and may be shared with third parties without restriction. Notwithstanding the foregoing, data submitted by enterprise customers under a separate written agreement is governed by that agreement and is not used for de-identified analytics or any training.

2.4. Communication. We may use your email address to send you important updates, announcements, and information related to your account or the Services. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time.

2.5. Security and Compliance. We may use your information to enhance the security and integrity of our Services, detect and prevent fraudulent activities, comply with legal obligations, and address technical issues.

3. Data Ownership and Sharing

3.1. Your Data Ownership. All data you submit — including search queries, part numbers, and account information — belongs solely to you. Wizerr does not claim ownership of any of your data.

3.2. Data Access. Beyond the uses described in this Policy, Wizerr will not access, use, or disclose your data unless authorized by you or required by law.

3.4. AI Platform Connectors. We enable you to interact with third-party AI platforms and services (such as Claude by Anthropic) that are not owned or controlled by Wizerr. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such platforms. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies. When using a Wizerr AI platform connector:

  • Your Wizerr credentials are never shared with the AI platform provider

  • Your AI platform credentials are never shared with Wizerr

  • Authentication is handled via OAuth 2.0

3.5. Legal Requirements. We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect the safety, security, and integrity of Wizerr, our Services, or others.

3.6. Business Transfers. If Wizerr is acquired, merged with, or sells some or all of its assets to a third party, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, with continued data protection obligations.

3.7. No Sale of Data. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data Security and Retention

4.1. Security Measures. We protect your data using industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.2+ for data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest) and secure access controls. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4.2. Data Retention. We retain your data for as long as you maintain an account with us, or as required by law. If you choose to close your account, we will securely delete your data from our active databases. Some information may be retained in backups and logs for a limited period, or where required for legal, regulatory, tax, or accounting purposes.

4.3. Session Data. Data submitted through AI platform connectors is processed to fulfill your request and is not used for any other purpose. We retain it only as needed to operate, secure, and support the Services.
